The Metro has a go at Fencing
WSM were in Stoke Mandeville on Tuesday with the Olympics Editor from the Metro, facilitating a ‘have a go’ at wheelchair fencing, on behalf of British Fencing sponsor, Beazley.
Matt Nash from the Metro interviewed top GB wheelchair fencer Tom Hall-Butcher and young Olympic hopeful Gabby Down, as well as doing a photo shoot with both athletes. Whilst at the training camp he also had a fencing lesson with Tom, which he said afterwards was “awesome”.
